I was also having problems with _some_ other Flash content &#8211; though not all.</p>
<p>Turns out that I&#8217;d <a href="http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=766786">installed the wrong version</a> of the Flash plugin &#8211; actually I&#8217;d installed more than one and the conflicts were creating the same problems as if the plugins hadn&#8217;t been installed at all. However the instructions in the forum posting fixed me up.</p>
