On Sunday morning I arrived in Sydney for few weeks holiday here in Oz. Fortunately I’ve not been to jet-lagged after managing to sleep quite a lot on the flight over. Already been out snorkelling near Manly beach and yesterday did a walk from Spit bridge to Manly:

Thanks to all of you who took part in our Mobile Developer Challenge, we’ve spent that last couple of days reviewing the applications and we were very pleased with the standard of all the entries. The winning application was by Daniel Tareke, so congratulations to Daniel. A screenshot of his application is below and you can download his application from Sourceforge.
I recently joined the caving club here in Madrid (Grupo de Espeleología de Geológicas) and last weekend I went on my first trip with them to learn & practice S.R.T. (progresion vertical) near the village of Patones. Next week they’re off to Burgos to practice inside a cave, but I’ll be away for the next few weeks so will have to wait until I get back before I can practice in a real cave. The caves here in Spain seem to be more technical than those in the UK, with ropework/SRT needed for most caves.
