My only defense is that the <a href="http://docs.moodle.org/en/Roadmap" rel="nofollow">Moodle Roadmap wiki page</a> still says it's scheduled for mid-2009, though I may have subconsciously ignored the ambiguous sounding 'or so' bit after 'mid-2009'! ha ha yes – maybe too big an assumption – especially when looking at previous releases of Moodle!
