		<description>Sounds like you had a nice time.

You've got to be seeing by now that the join here is how we link from an IM
to the other services - chat, group chat, voice, web share, A and then V conference;
all the way up to an open Skypecast that can be streamed, recorded and archived.

If we don't take a global perspective on this, we're going to go round and round,
presenting one institutional "Flashmeeting" solution to another, forever. In the meantime, the guys at the accessgrid are going to continue on as if the evolution of their "ensemble of resources" had nothing to do with your own.

I don't know if you've realized that you have the Moodle as the common app with a bunch of other domains. So if we're ever going to develop an open version of Skypecast it makes sense to focus on Moodle, and consider co-developing one solution which might help the silos to collaborate. http://moodle.org/mod/forum/view.php?id=6801

Peter and I have been playing with an (more) open version of Skype. You'll see the discussions at the IT forum. http://openlearn.open.ac.uk/mod/forum/view.php?id=1588
If you are at all interested would you just say a few words. This is starting to come to a head now (mainly with the guys at Wikipedia http://wikipediaweekly.org/). But it would be nice to have a few moodles involved to get the critical mass up.</description>
