Now got JBoss (v3.2.6) running on port 80 instead of 8080, just had to change all the instances of 8080 to 80 in the following files:
1) server.xml in
:jboss:\server\default\deploy\jbossweb-tomcat50.sar
2) jboss-service.xml in
:jboss:\server\default\deploy\http-invoker.sar\META-INF
